New School and new pictures

Decided we will be taking Crabby to a new school Back to the old one I use to work at. Very exciting and great new opportunities await Crabby.

We also had a new photo shoot today with Jen. Crabby was quite the natural and smiled nice and posed for Ms Jen and waited patiently to be done so she could go play on the playground...

Can't wait to see how they turn out.

Beginnings of a pageant

SIL called to see if we want Crabby to be in a local beauty pageant. We agreed since it's very casual. Western themed....finding cowboy boots to fit Crabby's wide feet has proven to be quite a challenge. I finally got her outfit together and we are patiently waiting for this weekend...while I secretly pray that she doesn't break down in dance on stage.

A New agent

What an adventure Miami was. It all started with the car rental place. they didn't have a car big enough to fit three carseats, so we got a Dodge Nitro....it was disgustingly dirty and NEVER will I ever buy one. We felt like we were sitting on each others laps. We had a quiet ride going, the baby slept while Crabby, and cousin watched Diego and snacked.

The appt went great. They loved her. And said she had a beautiful face. Crabby was flipping on the footstool, and playing with their magazines, and even sitting at the table trying to play with their computer, but they still liked her. I guess they forgave her craziness since they knew we had such a long drive.

We lost our parking ticket in the car console and that was a huge ordeal. We stopped for lunch and passed a park that we stopped to run off some energy. The gps tracker kept getting us off on the wrong direction and twice we went way out of our way. Our 4 hr trip home ended up being about 6 hrs, and Crabby never fell asleep..........

Wow...how exhausting. Now just waiting to see her pictures on their website.

Agency #3

We are going to an appt in Miami on Monday. Another agency wants to see Crabby. We're taking the long drive with Grandma, and cousins.

Hunsader Farms

We went to Hunsader farms with Cousins and Auntie. Crabby bounced in the bounce house, saw horses, danced, and got pictures in the pumpkin patch. There were lots of people there, but it was lots of fun

Bealls Photo Shoot

Crabby had her first photo shoot. It was for Bealls Dept Store and is right here locally.

We got there early and Crabby was very busy. Getting into cabinets, wanting to open the refridgerator and acting a mess like she usually does for mommy when mommy needs her to be at her best.

When they were ready for her, Crabby got a ponytail, blush, and a little lip gloss then mommy got her dressed. Her outfit was a green and white checkered shirt with matching jeans and a matching purse. The black shoes and pink socks we were told to wear did not match, but the had extras.

We went into the photograhy studio and Crabby turned on her charm. The same woman that did her hair was there to assist. Crabby did everything she was shown to do, and modeled like she had been doing it forever. She worked the hips, flipped her hair, smiled and did her thing. The entire studio was impressed with her. Mommy was so proud and so in shock that Crabby did so wonderful. She is definately not a shy child and wanted to model more clothes. Can't wait to see the ad on Christmas.

When we were done, Crabby chose to go to the cookie store since she was such a good listener.

Miami H&M Casting

The casting was fun, and a great learning experience for us. Crabby was a little grumpy, and fueled on no nap. There were Tons of kids there but it was very organized and moved slowly. Crabby got her picture taken but decided she was going to pull her shirt up and show her tummy when it was time....

Three pictures and we were done, we went back to the hotel to get daddy and we went swimming. We also took a walk down to the beach and sat in the hot tub, or the 'hot bubble aqua' in Crabby's words. We ordered room service pizza and chilled in the room for the rest of the night...

We stopped at a huge flea market on the way home then McDs. Crabby wanted to go in the slide. After finally figuring out how to get up there, she tried to find the slide. Next thing we know, we hear her crying, and crying, and crying. She got scared, but we couldn't see her. The kids that were in there, couldn't get her to come out. So daddy and mommy climbed in the play area to find her.

We're Going to Miami

Crabby got a casting call for H&M clothing line. It's Saturday in Miami. Our first call. We're gonna make it a mini vacation and stay over in a nice hotel. We're very excited to be staying on Miami Beach

It's been a while

OMG...It's been a long time since I updated....

We recently closed the store, and things have been kinda crazy for a while.

We went on a mini vacation with auntie and cousins. We went to Universal Studios in Orlando and stayed at the Nickelodean hotel.....What a great time we had. Crabby saw Diego, Backyardigans, Shrek, Fiona, and we stayed in a Spongebob Room. There was a water park right inside the hotel and crabby had a great time going down the water slides and swimming.

Things are going slow with crabby and her modeling and no calls yet. Hopefully we'll be getting some soon since season is picking up.

We went to another agency in Orlando last week and I was very impressed with them. We should know something in about a week if they want to represent her. For now, we're just having fun and shopping around

Road Trip

We decided to take crabby to the interview in Boynton Beach. We went on Monday and she did wonderful in the long 4 hr car ride. Thanks to Shrek of course.

We met with an agent and Crabby was her usual chatty self, and in fact, she continued to let the agent know that she went poopy. The agent loved her look, and said she was adorable, and they wanted to offer her representation. yay Crabby. They don't have a very busy child market, and suggested we also continue our search in Miami.

After the i/v we decided to drive 10 mins down the street to the beach.

You can see a slide show of the beach... it was so much fun. The water was chilly but nice and relaxing.....

Crabby had a great time...this was the her first time at the beach, that she could remember. She really loved the water and the waves and swimming with mommy and grandma.

Another Agency

We were contacted last night by another agency. They want us to set up an appointment for an interview. Crabby's getting out there in the world. We'll see how it goes.

Comp Cards came today

Crabby's Comp cards came in the mail on Saturday. So exciting now, almost like it's official. Now we wait for a call.....

Paperwork

Ok, we got all the paperwork done and Crabby's comp cards are done. Season is picking up, so maybe we will get a call soon.

She got an Agent

Crabby was contacted by an agency here locally that wants to represent her. Yayyyyy crabby. We will be submitting all the necessary paperwork, then wait for a call.

Bad news from Atlanta

On June 2, Crabby and I flew to Atlanta for her interview with Atlanta's Young Faces. A model and talent agency that was interested in her. I was so proud. We spent way too much money on airfare, clothing, toys, etc. Crabby did so great on her first airplane ride, and it really was a long day. They seemed to really like her and had nothing but great things to say about her.

We finally got our long awaited letter from them (Atlanta's Young Faces). Long story short, they don't want to sign Crabby. Oh well. Money wasted as a learning experience. We still have several agencies here in Florida that we have submitted to. Maybe we will here something soon from them.


Monday we are off to Busch Gardens. See the animals, play in the toddler zone, and sweat in the sun. Lots of fun.

Father's Day

Ok, so crabby made a t-shirt for daddy at school. "For my daddy.....who I walk all over....Happy Father's day. She walked on it with blue paint, so there are like 5 footprints on it. Crazy right. Yeah, well Daddy was soo proud, he even wore it to the Bargain barn. Ohhh, how sweet. I don't think I would have worn it. too bad crabby's too young to understand. I can't believe I didn't take a pic

Just the beginning

For those of you who don't know....crabby crab would be my daughter. She got the nickname as a baby, and it just kinda stuck. Rather than use her name outright for the blog (the logical thing to do), I have decided to be more creative.

We have just created our blog account and have a goal......at least once a week I will update what's in the world.....is going on.
